Area of Research: Graph-Based Anomaly Detection
Description: Create graph-based representations of multiple real-world data sets. Student will be responsible for generating a tool (or tools) that can (1) generate graphs from various data sources, and (2) be easily configured/modified to accommodate other graph representations in the future. Work will result in paper submission(s) to conference(s)/journal(s).
Duration: Aug/Sept – Nov/Dec 2008 (12 weeks)
Commitment: 10 hours per week (average), for 12 weeks
Salary: $12 per hour
Classification: Junior or Senior, majoring in Computer Science
Programming Language(s): C and/or Java
Operating System: Linux/Unix
