Our new shirts have arrived! We will be selling them the rest of the year. To see them visit ACM's Facebook page! Shirts cost $5 for members and $8 for non-members.
Meeting
Our next meeting of the semester will be during dead hour on Thursday, March 25th in Bruner 211. We will be discussing activities for this semester. We plan on this semester being even more exciting then last semester, so join us in our planning.
Game Hour
Game hours will be held in Bruner 211 during dead hour. This is a time for students and faculty to get together and play games. Everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite board and card games (keep in mind we only have an hour to play).
Movie Night
This semester we are watching the Evil Dead Trilogy. We will be watching the second one Thursday, March 25th in Bruner 206 (Mac Lab).
We will have the chocolate fountain again for this event, along with pretzels, strawberries, and popcorn. Bring your own drink (resealable container).
CyberTag
We are hosting a trip to Cookeville's CyberTag! This is planned for Friday, March 19th. Currently we plan on going at 9PM (this is subject to change based on attendance). ACM will be paying for ACM member's games. We will be paying half of the bill for non-members games. We will be funding two or three games depending on the turnout.
Due to funding and planning we are limiting this event to the first 30 people who sign up! To reserve your spot e-mail

with your name. Please reserve a place by March 17th.
Students (ACM and non-ACM members), faculty, and staff are encouraged to join us. We hope to see you there for a great time!
Trip to the National Center For Computer Science
If you have not already signed up for this event, it is too late. If it goes well, we will try to do it again next semester.
For those of you who are going, it is March 8th. We are meeting in Bruner at 11:00 am and car pooling to Oak Ridge. After leaving the NCCS we will be eating at Big Ed's Pizza. We will be back sometime that evening.
Other Events
Some of the other events we plan on attempting this semester include:
- Guest Speaker from Microsoft
- End of the Semester Computer Smash (possibly taking one apart before destroying it)
- Some kind of workshop...
Any other ideas are welcome!
ACM meetings and events are open to students from all majors! Please feel free to invite any of your friends who may be interested!
